While in Graduate School, Leslie spent her time working closely with the children at the Boys and Girls Club in Laguna Beach. Here she started a Divorce Group for Children experiencing divorce. For 3 years, Leslie volunteered her time working with school aged children of Saddleback Unified School District. Here she worked closely along side the teachers and aids teaching behavioral interventions, coping skills, social skills, anxiety management skills, and anger management skills to children in individual and group settings. Now, Leslie works closely with individuals, couples, families and children at a Private Practice in Tustin. She draws from many theoretical orientations to tailor a unique approach for each individual client based off their needs. She uses her empathetic understanding to provide a safe, warm, and inviting environment to focus on the unique experience of each client. Leslie has found that boundaries are very important to living a healthy life. She has found that a lack of healthy boundaries can cause individuals to suffer from anxiety, depression, overwhelming feelings of sadness, guilt, shame and anger. She focuses much of her effort on identifying unhealthy boundaries and helping her clients to create healthy boundaries. Leslie believes that there is hope for everyone to live the life they have always wanted to live!
